Most people who know me know I am a huge foodie fan. I spend an inordinate amount of time visiting and enjoying restaurants and cafes around Scotland. These are just 3 of my favourite places to visit in the Stirling area.
There are a number of fantastic cafes in and around Stirling where you can enjoy your caffine fix.

The Pavilion
There are a number of fantastic cafes in and around Stirling where you can enjoy your caffine fix, and my weekly regime normally includes a visit to The Pavilion, based at the old tennis clubhouse in Kings Park.
I just love the coffee in here. It has a unique taste to it but is still smooth and sumptious to drink. If you visit, then whats better than ordering a morning bacon roll to go with this delicious coffee.
The cafe also offers a range of sandwiches and soups plus it has a massive selection of baking to choose from too.
Toast
My favourite cafe in the city centre. It’s not a big place but that’s ok as it’s the food in here that packs a big punch.
Fast and efficient service, backed up by some cracking breakfast / lunch time options.
Again, the coffee here is excellent with its own comforting flavour and consistency. I usually go for the Croque Madame, one of their fantastic toasted melts with fried egg, Emmental cheese and garlic fried mushrooms.
The Woodhouse
If you don’t mind a 10 min journey to just outside Stirling along the Old Glasgow Road, then The Woodhouse, located at Kippen Station is a firm favourite of mine.
Although a coffee house, the quality of food being served here is bistro level. They offer a good range of options on the menu but its the daily picks that constantly change and provide that exciting combination of flavours. The burgers are second to none and the coffee is reassuringly crafted by the same chap thats been there for a number of years now.
