William John Bremner (9th December 1942 – 7th December 1997) was a Scottish professional footballer and manager from Stirling. Bremner was a midfielder and played for Leeds United the majority of his career . Bremner was with Leeds United from 1959 up until 1976, taking over the captaincy in 1965. He would then go on to join Hull City and ultimately retired at. Doncaster Rovers.
Bremner has over 50 international caps for Scotland and captained the nation at the 1974 World Cup.
He has also managed Doncaster Rovers and Leeds United.
